Kareena has come in acting by generation. Her parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor was famous actor in their time. She has one elder sister Karishma Kapoor is another popular face in boyywood. Her grandfather Raj Kapoor, great grandfather Prithiraj Kapoor, uncle Shammi, Shashi, Rishi and aunt Nitu and Jennifer is also famous image in Indian film industry. She completed her school from Mumbai, then she went Harvard University to take a course on Information Technology and she returned in India, joined a law college but after one year she left the college and joined an acting school.




Her father Randhir Kapoor never wanted, his daughter come in acting. He wanted they get married and settle as there family tradition. But Babita was determined about to bring them in acting and finally they divorced. Both sister left their father and stay remaining with there mother.Now she is the one of the most popular actress in bollywood.

Kareena was never planned about bollywood. She wanted to study on law. But she moved to acting and took admission in a act learning school.Then she came in front of camera. It is mainly happened by their family tradition.

In 2000 Kareena's first release was "Refugee" with Abhishek but did a average result not so good. She won filmfare best debut award. In 2001 "Asoka" and "Ajnabbi" gave her new image.




Then by "Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gum" (2001)everybody noticed him, it was a multi-starer film and getting blockbuster hit list.It was the biggest success in her career.Another releases were "Muje Dosti Karogi", "Khusi", "Main Prem Ki Diwanee Hu" gone moderate.

In 2004,she act as a sex worker in the film "Chameli" which gave her filmfare special award. By the following year, another film was "Bewafa", "Kyun Ki" and "Dosti".

When she dicided to act in "Chameli" as a prostitute, her elder sister Karishma tried to off her. But she was determined about this character and then she got inspiration from this movie to take such kind of challenging role and audience really a lot of flops for this role.

Thriller "36 Chaina Town" (2006)and "Chup Chup Ke" was average hit on the box office and in "Omkara" as Dolly she awarded again best performance award of the filmfare."Jab We Met(2008)" with Shahed Kapoor was the turning point of kareena's career. It gave her name and fame for her talent and she won the best actress in filmfare and "Golmal Returns" did well.

Among these "Jab We Met" turned her the top one artist at this time. She was a Punjabi girl in this film, talk to much and just enjoyed her every moment also loves a another religious. When she met with Shahed in this film, he also converted to her and once they felt, they are in love.

In 2009, she present herself as a supre model in "Kambaqt Isque" while next was "Kurbaan" with Saif Ali Khan did average score. But in "3Idiots" she proved again she is now the top one of the bollywood. Kareena is the combination of beauty and talent.
