Kajol is one of the most versatile Indian actress. She was born in Mumbai in a bengali-marathi family. Her mother Tanuja (Marathi) was a film actress and father Shomu Mukherjee was a film producer. Famous actress Natun is her maternal aunt. She has one younger sister Tanushree is also a actress in film industry. She left her school at the early age and started acting at the age of seventeen.

She started her career with the movie "Bazzigor" with co-star Shahrukh Khan.Kajol married another actor Ajay Devgan in 1999. She has a daughter called Nysa. Very soon, she will get mom again.

In 1995 she did few movie but all were not going to hit list. "Karan Arjun" did well but the movie "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge" with Shahrukh Khan, it just a biggest hit film in Indian film history.This movie is still going on theater She achieved filmfare best actress award for this movie. In the movie "Gupt"(1997), she played a negative role and again won filmfare award.

Another hit list of Kajol is "Payer Kiya to Darna Keya", "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gum". For these last two movies she again won filmfare best actress award.

After a break, she has come back with "Fanna" co-star Aamir Khan. Her latest realesed movie was "My Name Is Khan" was also placed super hit list.Kajol Has done some selected movie. She never floats herself with a ordinary story.She has made it to the top her hard work and responsibility. Her upcoming project is "We Are A Family". Hopefully, it will also going well as well as.

Kajol has recently clashed with her husband. Ajay want to say Kajol is published herself in very common way and also with Karan Johor. He wants, Kajol take rest and stay at home for there baby.
